The Rapid Action Lab process is divided in 3 major phases
Convening Key Actors
Between 40 to 50 key stakeholders around the challenge are identified and invited to come together for three days.
3-day RAL workshop
Key actors spend three days together negotiating responses and agreeing a portfolio of 5-6 urgent actions. They are organised into 5-6 sub-teams. Each team has a clear set of actions, an operating agreement and a budget.
Agile Action Cycles
Each ral sub-team enters into an agile working process that lasts between one to three months, depending on the urgency of the issue. They work in cycles of one week implementing their actions and are coached and supported by the facilitators.
